When you connect Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Sales Cloud, the information usually goes into special folders in Marketing Cloud called synchronized data extensions. These folders are made and handled in Marketing Cloud, and they're where the matched-up records from Sales Cloud are kept.

When data is transferred from Sales Cloud to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, it is stored in Contact Builder within the synchronized data extensions folder.
